They would also like leaves raked fallen limbs removed from little dog area.Updates are put on Facebook at Prince william county Dogs, or go to www.pwcdogs.com and that is linked to facebook. There will also be opportunities in the future for eagle projects. Prince William county dogs meet every 2nd Wednesday at Mike Mays office at Tacketts Mill. There is a planned fund raiser dog walk at Lake Ridge park on May 19, may be needing help then.Thank you for any help you can give. The "PWC Dogs" group is nearing the end of their project to create a dog park in the Lake Ridge area. They appreciate the help from volunteers who have come out for the past 2 weekends.
This weekend, they need to fill in the trenches along the fence line. Any available participants should arrive at 9:00 a.m. this Saturday, and bring shovels.
Further background info: the Lake Ridge Parks and Recreation Association and the Prince William County Park Authority gained approval for the creation of a fenced-in dog park on Minnieville Road. Here is a diagram of the specific location and the site plan: http://www.pwcdogs.com/Site_Plan_Of_Dog_Park.html. If you drive by this area, you'll see the new fence. The area is taking shape.
