      Hi Graham,

Here is a screenshot of ZL1EE signal I received on Monday Night (Australian time) showing the 2 spots I received from Murray.  I was pretty excited to see Murray's signal as it was the first time I had tried this mode.and 2492 Km on 100mW is not a bad result.

      Hi,

Just to be different I'm running OPERA (OP8) on 508.655kHz (that's the approximate carrier frequency, so you'll probably need to tune to 507.1kHz USB).

I'll leave it running all night tonight (Monday). Power is 10W or 100mW EIRP. I am using OPERA V1.4.7.

      Reports welcome.

      Good  luck with the  trials

Found something interesting wile trying to see if the dial read out was accurate at .507.1 KHz USB on my old Yaesu 767. There is an airport CW beacon on .508 KHz. When tuned to 507 KHz USB it shows up on the Spectrum Lab water fall @ 2.216 KHz. Looks like I'm in the ball park.

Looks like Airport beacons might be something useful for other hams.

            Ok John,

No need to worry about time and stability using this mode , OP32 requires app +/- 0.5 Hz in 32 mins over all stability , OP8 is much less , all the testing was carried out with standard kit ,Jose has coded AFC into the system , the only criteria being the CPU loading , id in the red zone , then decoding will not be at the expected levels and may fail

No decodes showing today ? same power or lower ?
