What the Goverment wanted: "Build a man with the speed of Michael Jordan. The strength of Super-Man. And the grace of Fred Astaire"
What they got: Michael Wiseman, a man "desperately in love with his wife and daughter".
So when Michael is 'killed' by a subway train, Dr.Morris makes him an offer he can't refuse. There's only one catch he can never again have any contact with anyone he knew in his 'former life'.
