Title: Memorial Day Symphony Concert and Fireworks
      Date: Monday May 30, 2011
      Time: 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Location: Flag Pole Hill. 8100 Doran Cir, near Northwest Highway at Buckner, Dallas
Notes: For the past 20 years or so, we have been meeting at the center top of Flag Pole Hill -- just north of White Rock Lake -- to listen to the Dallas Symphony's free Memorail Day concert. Pack a picnic basket with some food and drinks. The Dallas Symphony Orchestra, led by assistant conductor Rei Hotoda, will perform a selection of patriotic tunes and light classical favorites from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by an exciting fireworks display. The program includes John Sousa's Liberty Bell March, a medley salute to the armed forces and a performance of America the Beautiful by mezzo-soprano Pamela King.
(If you can't find us, call Ed on his cell at 214-564-7201.)

In case of rain, the Symphony Rain Site is Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, 2301 Flora Street, Downtown Dallas, TX 75201.
