|Notes:|| ||To celebrate Peace Corps' 50th birthday, we have two big events on Saturday: in Dallas at 2 PM to 3:30 PM and in Fort Worth at 4 PM to 7 PM.|
The Panel Discussion on the 50 years of Peace Corps is at the fambled John Kennedy "Sixth Floor Museum" in the former Texas School Book Depository Building. Film Producer Allen Mondell will moderate the panel. (Be sure to tell the museum staff you are a guest of Gary Zimny or Allen Mondell to obtain free admission.)
The NTPCA Steering Committee (open to all) will meet before the panel discussion at the Sixth Floor Museum at 1:15 PM as well; you are welcomed to join that too.
A "Global Open House" -- one of 774 such events around the world -- is at First Congregational Church at 4201 Trail Lake Drive, Fort Worth from 4 -7 PM Saturday. The church is in SW Fort Worth --about 1 mile north of I-20 and a couple blocks west of Granberry Road. Mike Herrington (RPCV/Ecuador, 817-926-2113) is the host. You are encouraged to bring finger food and show any art artifacts from your PC country.
