      Good Morning,

I'd like to get the following message out to members of NorCalPCA...is it possible to distribute as part of the next announcement email? Still a bit unsure of how this process works best, thanks for any help.

      Greetings, neighborly and nifty NorCalPCA,

I'm a newly R'd PCV (Cameroon 2010-2012) and am ready to take the plunge and move to San Francisco! But l need some help to make it a reality. I fly out in two weeks, and would like to start renting a place around the start of May. I am flexible on the arrangement - the only preference is not to go above $1000/month - but a spare room, shared house, family home with an extra apartment, any type of housemates, East bay or anywhere in the city, I'm interested. If you hear of anything opening up, please let me know!

I'm also hoping to make some money, meet families and indulge my love of children by babysitting - I have ten years of consistent experience working with kids as a nanny, camp counselor, volunteer and tutor, and have references, a great attitude and loads of songs, stories and games to bring to a new family. If you or someone you know is looking, I'd love to connect.

Thanks for keeping your ear to the ground - I can't wait to start setting up a life out there. Hope to meet many more of you soon!

In Cameroon I did health education in the areas of maternal/reproductive health/HIV/AIDS, and just loved it. Before that I studied nonprofit management at George Washington University in DC. I am here to scope out San Francisco until Monday April 1st, and would be eager to connect with any RPCVs who are involved in nonprofit or health work and would be willing to speak to me about the field, or SF in general. The vibrant and united RPCV presence in the area is one of the big draws, and I look forward to connecting with this group. Please keep me on your radar for opportunities (I've just joined the NorCalJOBS group too), and let me know if we can meet up for a cup of coffee.
