      anuary's Tango & Swing night brought out more than 100 dancers from the tri-state region.
      Join us for an evening of glorious dance at the  beautiful, legendary  Bearsville Theater.

      Dario Da Silva, originally from Rosario, Argentina, performs and teaches throughout the East Coast and is known as one of the up and coming dancers of his generation. He regularly teaches the Woodstock Tango workshops on Thursday nights.

      Evan MacDonald
      , from Woodstock, is one of the top West Coast Swing instructors and DJ’s in Upstate New York, with a large following of devoted dancers attending classes throughout the Hudson Valley.

      Ilene Marder
      is the founder and director of Woodstock Tango and DJ’s milongas regularly in upstate NY and NYC.
      is located on Rt. 212,  two miles West of the Woodstock Village Green, is perched on the Sawkill Creek in one the region’s most picturesque streamside settings. Legendary among theatergoers and artists alike as the brain child of Albert Grossman,  the music industry visionary who managed Bob Dylan and Janis Joplin, it is located adjacent to the renowned Bear Café.  Built by local artisans, the theater opened in 1989 and recently underwent extensive renovation, to become a one-of-a-kind showplace venue for an array of musical, theatrical and special events.       From North: - Take Saugerties Thruway exit 20,  go west on Rt 212  about 10 miles to Woodstock.  Go straight thru Woodstock, staying on Rt 212. The Bearsville Theater is 2 miles further west on rt 212. Take a left when you see the Bear cafe sign..head towards the far end of the property...the theater is on your right, parking on your left.

      From South:  Take Kingston Thruway Exit 19, go Rt. 28 west towards Woodstock/Pine Hill. Travel about 10 miles, take a right onto
      Rt 375. At the end of Rt 375, take a left into Woodstock...follow directions above.
