      ABOUT NELSON AVILA (Scroll all the way down, please)

      Nelson Avila's career began as a child. He brings
      a wealth of talent, many years experience, and tango
      mystique to his audience, students and admirers.
      Nelson Avila has been named a member of the National
      Academy of Argentina and is recognized as an
      authority
      on tango. He was in the original cast of "Tango
      Argentino" and also completed the international tour
      with the hit show "Forever Tango".
      Nelson has toured and performed all over the world.
      He has danced for Princess Diana and Jacqueline
      Kennedy, taught Robert Duvall to dance tango and was
      best man at Duvall's wedding. Nelson taught the
      choreographer who trained Al Pacino for the film,
      "Scent of a Woman".
      Nelson's film credits include "Tango Bar" with Raul
      Julia.
      The Argentine government selected Nelson Avila to
      choreograph the Argentine presentation at "Expo
      Seville 1992" in Spain.
      Nelson produced, choreographed, and performed in his
      show, "Buenos Aires Tango" in many major cities
      including Lincoln Center in New York.
      Nelson Avila will be conducting these classes with
      his partner, Madalyn Klein, who has an enviable 20
      years of tango experience.
