This week I¹m having a series of musicality workshops.
There is only 1 workshops left out of 4.
Wednesday June 29th
8:30-10:00 PM Dissecting & understanding Osvaldo Pugliese's orchestrations
Something I have heard at the milongas many times is ³I don¹t like to dance
to Osvaldo Pugliese because is too difficult².
The Osvaldo Pugliese¹s orchestra was without a doubt one of the most (if not
the most) popular orchestras in Argentina. I had the opportunity to play
with this orchestra for 6 years and he use to say to us ³imagine that you
have a couple of dancers in front of you and you are playing with and for
His style was the richest and the most colorful in the history of Tango.
At this workshop we will immerse our selves into his style and we will
discover new dimensions that will make dancing to Pugliese¹s orchestra a
³Tango Heaven Experience².
Thursday June 30th
7:00-8:30 The Evolution of Tango Music
At this workshop we will analyze the evolution of Tango music. We will talk
about where Tango is coming from and where is it going.
We will identify the common and different elements between ³Traditional
Tango² and ³New Tango² and how can you apply these elements to your dance.
All the workshops will combine Lecture, Demo and Dancing.
ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOME!!!
I hope to see you at:
