Unfortunately for the P1 to connect with the water buses is not as simple as you would think.  There are two water bus services in Cardiff, due to the owners of the original service falling out, and one setting up a rival company!

One of the boats (Aquabus) operates hourly, the other (Cardiff Cats) every 20, 25 or 40, 45 or 50 minutes - depending on the day and time of day.  Confused?  This might explain why the P1 service operates every 45 minutes.
