      Maine daughter of Rowland Luce (Daniel 5, Rowland 4, Jonathan 3,
      Robert 2, Henry 1) and Hannah Daggett (Ebenezer 5, John 4, Joseph
      3, Joseph 2, John 1). She died 9 December 1885 in Starks, Somerset
      County, Maine.

      Her husband was Jonathan Merry born 29 December 1798 in New
      Vineyard, Franklin County, Maine son of Asa Merry (David 4, Samuel
      3, Samuel 2, Joseph 1) and Sally Bartlett daughter of Benjamin
      Bartlett (parents unknown). He died 7 May, 1882 in Starks.

      Married 9 May 1822. (third cousins)

      Children:

      1. Hannah Daggett Merry born 29 September 1824 in Industry, married
      James Rhoety.

      2. Clementine Allen Merry born 25 February 1826, married Thomas Pelton.
