Re: [NewEnglandCampaigners] Borderlands
- I kinda agree that for this one we should just go with a "generic" 63 ANV impression, as opposed to a specific unit. We are going to all be wearing different stuff and will not have the "issued" look that a specific unit impression like the 26th NC would require on such short notice. These events are pretty much free for alls anyways as far as authenticity goes so why don't we just do what Todd suggested originally and do a generic 63 ANV impression. This way we do not have to worry about the particulars of a specific unit portrayal. Its only going to be a handful of us, so lets just show them what a good CS mid war impression looks like. Its really not rocket science, so lets not complicate things...Anyways thats my thoughts on the matter,Bryan Stefancyk

Date: Saturday, September 6, 2008, 9:33 PMHi Guys,
I'm new to this list- my name is Will Tatum, and I've been doing ACW off and on since Payne's Farm in '05. I got started in Rev War back in 2000, but am shifting forward to do ACW full-time now. Caleb informed me about this list and I'm looking forward to meeting fellow campaigners in New England. If we're doing the 26th NC, shouldn't we be in North Carolina issue jackets? Is there a website for the event, or at least a schedule of activities? I don't know if I'll be able to attend for the whole thing (I definitely won't be arriving before Saturday morning), but it sounds like a good opportunity to get out and about.
Yours in The Cause,

They had just been wasted at Gettysburg, and were probably down to companies the numbers us CS boys should be mustering. If anyone has the latest article of Gettysburg Mag, there is an article in there bout them.Any Fate But Submission.Respectfully,

- Stiggs,It is definitely on my radar screen. It's further than I like to go for a reenactment, but then again, there aren't that many choices for next season so far.Take care,Tom
