Re: [N_O_A] DNA message group
- Bruce,Thanks for your response. We can see how the group that is set up now works for your DNA discussions... and it you feel it is not satisfactory, I will get Bill to set up another one, as you might direct.I would suggest that you put in the SUBJECT title... DNA group A, or some such id, in case some might not be interested in this particular discussion. As other groups are set up... they can also be labeled. Would this be satisfactory for your purpose?Dorothy----- Original Message -----From: BruceSent: Monday, December 05, 2005 9:16 PMSubject: [N_O_A] DNA message groupI first suggested a discussion group for some of the members of the DNA
project back in September. There were 10 or 12 of us who were closely
related but none of us knows the key to unlock the secrets of our
connection. I thought that if we could get together online we could
share some names and maybe find a few more bits of the puzzle. I only
got about three responses and didn't set up the discussion board. Jimmy
called me Saturday and asked about it and we thought maybe the NOA
board might work.
It would take some organization because NOA would be open to all DNA
members but not all of them are very closely related. Relative Genetics
has labelled the people I am interested in as the "A" group and others
consecutively. That could be the way to organize, I suppose. I think
two or three other DNA participants are part of this NOA board already
and I would like for them to express their opinon.
