16Re: [N_O_A] N_O_A Odom DNA project Group A
- Dec 8, 2005Don't forget the early history and geography of that area.In the early days when our Malachi group was there, it was called Washington Co. Miss. Territory. As the states were then divided, the SAME land that they owned, as proven with early maps and my research into their land holdings, was then situated in Wayne Co. Miss. They did not move..... only the boundaries of the states/counties changed. And Then they DID move to Lauderdale Co. MS, which is CLOSE to Jackson MS... probably the biggest town around at the time.So many similar names... so much confusion!Dorothyon the Malachi line----- Original Message -----From: Kathy OdomSent: Wednesday, December 07, 2005 8:24 PMSubject: [N_O_A] N_O_A Odom DNA project Group AJimmy R Odom, b. in Frankston, TX, 7 Feb 1936.
