      Dear Friends,

      This weekend Ashkenazim begin the practice (Sephardim have
      been doing it all month) of saying the special selichos prayers,
      urging us along the process of tshuva - return to our true potential
      of goodness, fixing all the mistakes we've made over the course of
      the year, preparing us for the Awesome Days to come in the next few
      weeks. May the music inspire us to embark on this difficult journey
      of honest introspection and self-improvement!

      Thursday Sep 22 at 8-11pm concert to benefit victims of
      Hurricane Katrina at Yeshiva University: Weissberg Commons, 2495

      The show follows the comedic and poignant plight of a single Jewish
      woman in NYC as she struggles to find her match and find her true

      Amsterdam. Shabbat afternoon at the shul, following mincha (5:55pm)
      I'll be speaking and singing at a spiritual seduah shlishit (3rd
      Shabbat meal). Then say good-bye to Shabbat with a musical
