Writer/designer needed for report: bids due December 9
- The National Coalition for Women and Girls in Education (NCWGE), a nonprofit coalition of more than 40 organizations dedicated to improving educational opportunities for women and girls, is seeking a writer/designer for its upcoming report, 'Title IX at 40.' Title IX is the federal civil rights law that prohibits sex discrimination in education, and June 2012 marks the 40th anniversary of the law's enactment. For this project, the writer/designer will compile factual and legal information from NCWGE member organizations about different aspects of the law and recent cases/policy developments into a comprehensive report accessible to the public, educators, school administrators, and policymakers, and will design the report layout and accompanying graphics. The report will be released electronically and a limited number of physical copies will be produced.
The report must be ready for publication by June 1, 2012. NCWGE is currently soliciting bids, and will close bidding on December 9, 2011. All bids should be sent to VoterEd@... with the subject 'NCWGE Bid'.
