      There were some more interesting suggestions on aging wood, which I forgot
      to mention.

      Doug Jolley uses a file card for the purpose. My problem is that I don't
      know what a file card is. Maybe he can explain. And Mike Ryan suggested to
      use a razor saw. Same problem.

      Then there was Doug Heitkamp's suggestion to add to the look of weathered
      wood by zapping the strips in a microwave oven before staining. I didn't try
      it yet, but I certainly will. It sounds very interesting. No, I won't say my
      wife.
