Hehas also contributed articles to various scholarly journals.Dr. Geivett served as the college pastor of a church inWashington and the Church of the Open Door in SouthernCalifornia. He is currently a consultant for a series of filmson youth culture to be produced by Focus on the Family,and is a member of the Advisory Council for the Focus onthe Family Institute. GARY HABERMAS is an Americanevangelical Christian apologist, historian, andphilosopher of religion. He is a prolific author,lecturer, and debater on the topic of theResurrection of Jesus. Habermas is consideredto be one of the foremost experts on the resurrection. Heis the author, co-author, or editor of over three dozenbooks, of which 19 are on various aspects of the subjectof Jesus’ resurrection. Other subjects include religiousdoubt, suffering, and near-death experiences. He hasalso contributed more than sixty-five chapters or articlesto additional books, plus over 100 articles and reviews tojournals and other publications. During the past fifteen yearsor so, he has been a Visiting or Adjunct Professor at about15 different graduate schools and seminaries in the US andabroad. He earned his Ph.D. at Michigan State Universityand the M.A. at the University of Detroit .
