      This month's Special Activity will be the signing by five fantasy
      writers at Barnes & Noble, 1 Riverside Square, The Shops at
      Riverside, Hackensack, New Jersey 07601 (201) 488 - 8037. The
      event will be held at the store from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. There will
      likely be a dinner gathering with the authors after the event.

      Present for the signing will be fantasy writers Patricia Bray, S C
      Butler, Barbara Campbell, Daryl Gregory and Joshua Palmatier. Mr
      Butler spoke at the Association' s August 2008 General Meeting. Ms
      Campbell spoke at the group's September 2007 General Meeting.

      This is the first of a two part Science Fiction Saturday.

      The S F A B C General Meeting featuring a talk by librarian Latricia
      Markle about Science Fiction in the Library will be held at 8:00 PM
      in the Saddle River Valley Cultural Center in Upper Saddle River, New
      Jersey. The meeting had been postponed from the 10th due to snow.

      Also coming up:

      The Writers of the Weird will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2009
      at 4:00 PM in the home of Pamela Webber and Philip De Parto.
