For discussion on all aspects of Nottingham Express Transit (NET) tramway system, in particular reporting of test running activities. Line 1 opened to the public on 9th March 2004. Two other routes are in the planning stages, line 3 to Beeston and Chilwell and line 2 to Wilford and Clifton.

Photo above shows tram 201 having made its very first run into the city centre on Sunday 31st August 2003. This tram was preceeded about 2 hours earlier by tram 208 on a HMRI inpsection and gauging trial.
