Simply put, you are The One.

But - - you're pretending to be "two."

So then you start to desperately seek for a
      reunion with "The One."

The incredible irony is that it's a One which
you already are - and have never stopped
      being.

A dog chasing its own tail will only get
dizzy and an occasional mouthful of hair.

But in Enlightenment, there's really no
      further chasing of anything.

      Only, perhaps, a deepening.

      Enlightenment is simply being willing
to dance joyously - and with total
gratitude - to whatever music that's
being played for you - moment to
      moment.

After all, it's all for your benefit

Just don't sit out the Dance!

One can appreciate & celebrate each moment - there's nothing more sacred. There's nothing more vast or absolute. In fact, there's nothing more!

      - Pema Chödrön

Life doesn't need you to accept it. Life accepts you totally - including your non-acceptance of life, just as the ocean 'accepts' every wave. Stop trying to accept, and sink into the deep acceptance of life itself - which is what you are. The deepest acceptance has already been done.

Why do you stay in prison
when the door is so wide open?

Move outside the tangle of fear-thinking.
      Live in silence.

      - Rumi

See everyone as Buddha. This purifies the mind of ignorance and arrogance.

The spirit of rejection finds its support in the consciousness of separateness; the spirit of acceptance finds its base in the consciousness of unity.
