Nondual Highlights: Issue #2872, Sunday, July 15, 2007

This whole baobab tree of illusion
      With its roots
      And it's trunk
      And it's sap
      And it's bark
And all its branches and leaves and shade,

      All of it,
      The whole complete tree -
      Is contained
      Within the fruit
      Hidden
      In the tiny seed
      Known by the name
      of
      "Me"

For the human being which considers itself an entity to remain puzzled, Consciousness must produce new puzzles. All that is happening is that Consciousness is amusing itself.

      This moment
      The presence of this moment
      Only that.
Who am I without my beliefs?
      New New New

      an infinite expanse
of an apparent sea of being
      as beheld in repose
      while all around
the myriad waves of this sea
      arising before

      and beholding thus
      to realize
      to see
      a bodhisattva
      each one

      as if embraced
      in infinite sea
      of
      boddhisattvas

      Here is the Pure Land

      Here is the Pure Land
      The Pure Land is here
      I smile in mindfulness
And dwell in the present moment
The Buddha is seen in an autumn leaf
The Dharma is a floating cloud
      The Sangha body is everywhre
My true home is right here.

      Breathing in
      Flowers are blooming
      Breathing out
      I am aware that
      Bamboo is swaying
      My mind is free
      And I enjoy every moment.
