189Re: NG caboose at Dutch Flat?
- Dec 29, 2002Hi - The caboose at Dutch Flat is a Towle Brothers Lumber Company caboose or
crummy. It's the only piece of intact rolling stock from that railroad aside
from several 0-4-0 Porters that also operated on that line. The NCNG caboose
is at the NCNG museum in Nevada City. This caboose is a replica of the
original. See ncngrrmuseum.org for further details.
