      if memory serves??? on #2...isn't it something like...
      they give you a written sample of what a student might say/write (discourse)..
      and you are supposed to find/analyze for things like grammar syntax/morphology, etc..
      ie. did they leave out an article in their speaking/writing or use /ed/ for all past tense verbs, etc..
      then offer strategies to help them use english correctly??
       
      not sure if that little bit of extra helps... but Miss Isabella is right as far as i understand it to be...
