National Association of RC&D Councils (NARC&DC)
National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD)
National Association of Conservation District Employees (NACDE)
National Association of State Conservation Agencies (NASCA)
The overall goal of the conference is to support current organizational leadership so that it can effectively deliver the nation’s conservation programs. The conference will include a series of workshops, talks, and listening sessions that will run from 9am to 5pm on both the 14th and 15th. Topics will include financial management, leadership, strategic thinking, team building, enhancing external relationships, reaching under-represented and under-served groups, and collaboration with external partners.
The Partnership’s goal is to have at least one representative from each organization for each state at the conference. There will be open registration, and all those interested in attending the conference will be welcome. Additionally, through assistance from the USDA NRCS, the Partnership is offering one stipend per state (on a competitive basis) for state RC&D association presidents or their representatives to attend the conference.
