Well, call it a dirt pan. Central Savannah RC&D in Georgia is trying
to locate a used, but in good condition, dirt pan for a project area
in the vicinity of Statesboro. Specifications include 3 - 4 cu yd
capacity, operated with a 60 - 90 HP tractor, wheels in the rear, no
dolly wheels in the front. Equipment will be used for constructing
      terraces.

If you know of a dirt pan (with these specs) for sale reasonably
close (60 or so miles) to the Augusta, Savannah, Waycross areas of
      Georgia, please contact me:

Does Central Savannah and Oconee still have an active lagoon pump out
program? We have a new 319 project that will probably include som
lagoon closures. The project counties are Washington and Johnson, both
adjacent to Oconee and Savannah River.

              Holli,

I would suggest that you contact Dewitt Auction Co. in Sikeston,
Missouri. They move a lot of equipment and may have some dirt pans on
hand. A 3-4 yard bucket is almost obsolete in this area, but they may
have one or know where to locate one. Their phone number is (573)
              471-1060. Good luck.
