These can be difficult times for RC&D Councils. We are coming up on three years since the elimination of federal administrative support for RC&D areas and many RC&D Councils are still searching for the right tool to jumpstart their operation. RC&D GeoLab is just such a tool. RC&D GeoLab is a project that RC&D Councils can adopt and use to revitalize their own operations, be of better service to thier communities, AND earn revenue. RC&D GeoLab helps RC&D Councils by facilitating new partnerships and using the power of the internet to develop, market and fund projects and business ideas.
RC&D GeoLab has been developed by the North Country RC&D Council in New Hampshire and we are now reaching out to all RC&D’s around the country to offer the opportunity to join the RC&D GeoLab community.
Today you can explore this opportunity by visiting the GeoLab Library @ www.lakegeolab.org and discussing it further among colleagues by joining the RC&D GeoLab private Group within LinkedIn. To join: login to Linkedin, search ‘RC&D GeoLab’ and select Join.
Next week we will be starting phone calls to Council Presidents and other contacts with your RC&D Council. And we will be sending out information on a series of Webinar’s that will provide even more information about RC&D GeoLab. There will be multiple day and time of day choices. Find the day and time that works best for you. If none of the choices works for you and you want more information on RC&D GeoLab, contact Rick DeMark at rdemark.ncrcd@... or call (603)527-2093.
Let’s jump start RC&D’s and the RC&D social revolution with RC&D GeoLab!
