Following up on Rick's request:
Jim what happens if you recreate the macros for ESC,TX and RX ? Will
take and reload like they should?? I haven't had a chance to work on
tonight so I'm trying to narrow it down to where I need to look..

I had trouble recreating the OTHER1 macro set, but did finally get it
to work. Yes, recreating the OTHER1 macro set did solve the problem
and I was able to load / save and restart the DI and the macros
A few variations between the old and new OTHER1:
1- The old OTHER1 macro name is in lower case and the new is in upper
case (looking using windows explorer).
2- The space holders in the old macros is *.* and in the new macro is
it is *.
3 - If I try and reload the old OTHER1 in lower case, I get a
subscript out of range error and N1MM shuts down.
The bottom line, is recreating works and solves the problem. However,
the root cause is unknown.
