      Hello

      I would confirm that !
Pse be a really angry customer.

I had problems with reaching some special webpages.
      But really only some !

First I thought just the pages have been down for a while but then I asked
others to check them and they reached them without any problems.
Also other users of the same ISP but in another area were able to connect
      the pages.

I do have DSL from my ISP "Tiscali" and I stepped back to analog connections
by ISDN and a call-by-call ISP just to check.
      What should I say ?

I was able to reach the pages without any problems !

So I called my ISP "Tiscali" and sent them the trace results.
I saw that the first hops intern the "Tiscali" server routes in Duesseldorf
had been broken and told them that problem.

      BUT:
      No reaction.
They told me the problem is not at "Tiscali".

They have a service hotline (not very cheap) and I had to phone them more
than 4 times after I got a quiet responsible person on the phone line.
I told them to move to another ISP and I told them also to inform others
about this way of controlling routes....!

And suddenly after less than 1/2 day I was able to reach the webpages.

I phoned them once more just to ask what they had done but I got the info:
      WE HAVE CHANGED NOTHING.....!

      Really funny.

So please be a steady asking customer !

      Jochen

By the Way: Happy new year to each of you on the reflector.
