Just some useful tips for inputting and modifying SS Sections (ARRL
      Sections) in Logger.

One of the big changes is that the old NWT is now NT. You can quickly
      change that by going to:

Config > Change Exchange Abbreviations > ARRL Sections

scroll down and change both the NWT Abbreviation AND the NWT Section to NT.
Just in case, look down the Section column, to see if there are any other
occurrences of NWT. If so, change it to NT, but LEAVE the abbreviation.
See the text below for an explanation on why there might be (and should be
      IMHO) other abbreviations...

      Adding non-standard Section Abbreviations:

How many times has a great VE Maritime mult called in, but you can't log it
correctly? For example, here are common abbreviations sent for MAR:
      MAR,NB,NS,PEI,VE1,VE9,VY2

You can go to the bottom of the ARRL Sections Window and add lines to allow
you to log these (incorrectly) sent sections. E.G. to add the above
examples, add new lines to the bottom of the list as follows:

      ABBREVIATION SECTION:
      MAR MAR
      NB MAR
      NS MAR
      PEI MAR
      VE1 MAR
      VE9 MAR
      VY2 MAR

The result is that NB, NS, PEI etc get logged as the MAR section. And only
the MAR section will appear in your Multiplier window.

WARNING: Section abbreviation changes might vary by contest. I think
adding any non-standard abbreviations to the ARRL Sections should be OK, as
I can't think of another contest that uses these sections. But for the VE
sections (which DO NOT have to be edited for SS) are used in contests
multiplier contests like the Sprint and NAQP, and these contests have
slightly different mults. You should check your VE Sections Window to see
if they are OK when these contests are used.

      Happy Contesting,
