Re: Bilingual children study
- Dear Severine,
Please pardon the slow reply. I was going to suggest that you try a couple of lists for parents of children being raised multilingually, but notice that you already tried Multilingual Munchkins at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/multilingualmunchkin/
The old Enfants bilingues list at http://fr.groups.yahoo.com/group/enfantsbilingues/ has moved to http://cafebilingue.ning.com/ - I'm not familiar with the forum on their new site, but if you speak French, perhaps you could elicit some responses there.
Please let us know how this research is going.
All the best.

Like every parent raising multilingual children, I am concerned about their language development and hope they will reach high levels of speaking and understanding in all their languages, but I know that, unfortunately, this is not always the case.

If you are a parent raising a 3-5 year-old bilingual/multilingual child, you may decide to participate in my study by filling out an online questionnaire, which will help me understand better how multilingual children learn their languages at home. I hope to be able to ultimately help parents understand how they can encourage their children's language learning at home on a daily basis.
