Group Description

This group is for Ham Radio Operators interested in P25 and provides for a forum of projects related to the current 443.325+, 927.5125(-25MHz input and 146.94- analog/P25 N9PAY repeater systems in Milwaukee, WI.

The purpouse of this group and repeaters are to foster new P25 technologies and experimentation in Amateur Radio, provide a solidly engineered systems for public safety and emergency communications, and of course to have fun!

The 443.325+ repeater uses 127.3 PL for analog and NAC 295 for digital. The repeater is a Motorola Quantro and is located at 110' on top of St. Joseph's Hospital in north central Milwaukee County, and runs 150 watts into an omni dipole array at 110'. There is also a second analog repeater located at Calhoun and Cleveland in New Berlin with 127.3 as the output PL and 156.7 as the input on the same frequency.The analog side is running Echolink (node 355936)and linked to the Ashwaubenon Tech Club (ATC) repeater in Green Bay, WI on 147.075+ (107.2) full time.

The 927.5125 repeater is a Motorola Quantar and will be located at 600' on the MPTV 10/36 tower, transmits 100 watts into an omni antenna on the west side of the tower. The repeater is currently enabled for p25 at this time (NAC 293), and uses a DPL of 223 for analog.

The 146.940- repeater is located at just under 300' at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center located in southern Milwaukee county. The repeater is a 110 watt Motorola Quantar that uses a 127.3 PL and a 293 NAC for P25. This repeater is sponsored by the City of Greenfield Emergency Government and St. Luke's Hospital.

The repeaters are affilated with both Ashwaubenon Tech Club(ATC), formerly the Ashwaubenon High School Tech Club (AHSTC), and the Milwaukee Area Digital Operators Group (MADOG).
