ARTPOST Gallery and Studios presents a one-of-a-kind Show this Friday:

      PICKLES & ICE CREAM
opens Friday June 4th and runs through July 10th

Friday June 4th 5-9pm is a reception boasting pregnancy inspired artwork by
two ARTPOST owners (Jessica Keller Liljegren and Lisa Brobst) as well as Deni
Storm Rogers and Helen Waldschmidt. Three of the women are pregnant now and
Helen is a first time grandmother.

The reception will include a hot fudge sundae bar open to guests, champagne
to help celebrate and of course, pickles!!! The work in the show is must see
quality, and the whole Grafton Mill will be open to explore that night! The
river level contains a new studio called "concepts" by artists Rise Andersen and
Bonnie Joseph-Coonan. Andersen works in 2-D conceptual pieces and Coonan
refines raku pottery pieces. ARTPOST will be celebrating the upcoming births
with watercolor paintings by Liljegren, fabric collage pieces by Brobst, black
and white photography by Rogers and large stoneware vessels by Waldschmidt.
The studios of fellow ARTPOST owners Mai Wyn Schantz and Sara Braun will also be
open for perusal. Also on the first floor is the Grafton Yarn Store which
will be showcasing a trunk show of handmade fashions by Mary Sarah Designs (Mary
Groh Mendla), as well as Claudette Lee's Riverview studio. Claudette is
known for her abstract and landscape work and painted tiles. The second floor is
Paul Hundley's award winning photography and will also be open. And be sure
to check out out the Grafton Mill's spacious third floor, currently available
for rent. The owner of the building has begun working on the space to make
it suitable for artists to work in.

Hope to see you all there, would love some help celebrating the upcoming
arrival of new lives and sharing a cornucopia of quality artwork!!!!!

Any questions? As always, call us at the ARTPOST gallery & studios.
