Making Connections Between Your Art Medium and Grade Specific Learning Targets
      &
Hands-on Training: Entering Artist Profiles on the new Milwaukee
      Artist Directory

The Arts Education Collaborative (AEC) invites all artist educators to
the 2nd in a series of Artist Educator
Open Forums discussing the new Milwaukee Arts Education Directory.
This new online tool will give artist
educators the capacity to reach numerous schools and classroom
      teachers with information about the
      programs they offer.

The AEC knows that technology can be challenging for some, so we are
      holding this 'hands-on' forum in
a computer lab to not only help artist educators with specific
questions like how to connect art programs
and projects to MPS learning targets, but also to give 'hands-on'
support and advice about how to create
an informative and engaging artist profile.

Attendees can prepare for this forum by visiting
      http://www.milwaukeeartseducationdirectory.org/ and
clicking on 'log into or create artist account.' It will be most
efficient if attendees are able to copy and
paste their information right into the online profile. This can be
done by a) bringing electronic documents
on a USB or flash drive b) retrieving information from a Web site or
      other online resource already posted
on the Web c) or by emailing any information you wish to use to your
own email address (the internet will
      be available during the forum).

The Arts Education Collaborative includes; The Cultural Alliance of
      Greater Milwaukee, Arts @ Large,
Nonprofit Management Fund and United Neighborhood Centers of
      Milwaukee. The Arts Education
Collaborative initiative is funded by the Helen Bader Foundation.
