COMMUNITY MEETING TO CONSIDER THE ADDITION OF A SKATE SPOT AT MIDDLETOWN COMMUNITY PARK
FREDERICK, MD – The Frederick County Division of Parks and Recreation will be holding a Community Meeting to review the current, approved Middletown Community Park’s Master Plan for the possible addition of a Skate Spot, on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 7:00PM at the AMVETS Hall, in Middletown, Maryland. A Skate Spot is defined as a smaller version of a Skate Park. The Frederick County Board of County Commissioners is gathering public input related to the Town of Middletown’s request to install a Skate Spot facility at Middletown Community Park. This meeting will provide the opportunity for the public to understand the components that were included in the current, approved Middletown Community Park Master Plan, of which a Skate Spot was not included. Those in attendance will be able to express their ideas, thoughts and concerns as to amending the current master plan to possibly include a Skate Spot; this will be your only opportunity to do so in a public format. For further information, please contact Frederick County Division of Parks and Recreation Office at 301-600-6816.
