      Age 50, WB8VOJ - John Rittenhouse passed away on Friday, October 23, 2009 after a courageous battle with colon cancer. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Silvia Rittenhouse; sons, David (Danielle) Rittenhouse, Andrejs (Tabitha) Rittenhouse; granddaughter, Breanne; his parents, Jerry (Jane) Rittenhouse; brother, Bruce (Carol) Rittenhouse; sister, Sara (Russ) Vreeland; mother-in-law, Zenta Karklins; sister-in-law, Inara (Jim) Zweedyk; many cousins and friends.

      John will always be remembered for his investment with the I.R.A. system and his own 220 repeater.

        RITTENHOUSE - John Robert Rittenhouse "WB8VOJ", aged 50, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2009 after a courageous battle with colon cancer. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Silvia Rittenhouse; sons, David (Danielle) Rittenhouse, Andrejs (Tabitha) Rittenhouse; granddaughter, Breanne; his parents, Jerry (Jane) Rittenhouse; brother, Bruce (Carol) Rittenhouse; sister, Sara (Russ) Vreeland; mother-in-law, Zenta Karklins; sister-in-law, Inara (Jim) Zweedyk; many cousins and friends. He will be missed by his furry buddies who kept him comfortable Rudy, Ahi, and Billy. John was vice president of the family business Electronic Automation Inc. for 26 years. He loved trees, being outdoors, traveling up north, and amateur radio. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church , 1100 Lake Dr. SE . The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or Faith Hospice.
