Chuck, wondering how stability compares in the Michilak rowboats...does the flatbottom have the best stability and can a fisherman move around without too

Chuck, wondering how stability compares in the Michilak rowboats...does the flatbottom have the best stability and can a fisherman move around without too much tippyness? How she sits on the beach is not a concern for some but stability in the water is important to most fisherman/rowers. All plans are good and should be within most builders grasp. Thanks for the info.

Hi, Charles: The most stable rowboats will be the ones with flat bottoms all the way across and vertical sides. They will not row as well as the V bottomed

        Hi, Charles:

The most stable rowboats will be the ones with flat bottoms all the way
across and vertical sides. They will not row as well as the V bottomed ones
or the ones with narrow flat bottoms and bilge panels (sometimes called
5-panel multichine). It's important to know how you will use the boat when
        picking a design.
