    PERFECT PAIRING: Seminar on Castilla y La Mancha, the world’s largest wine-producing region by world-renowned sommelier Charlie Arturaola

     

    Miami, FL-- (Sept. 24, 2009) On  Saturday, September 26, 2009, beginning at 4:45 p.m. at the Miami International Wine Fair, IPEX Miami, the trade group representing the Spanish wine-producing region of Castilla y La Mancha and renowned sommelier Charlie Arturaola will hold a seminar and tasting of some of the region’s most intriguing wines. The seminar will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center (1901 Convention Center Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33139).

     

    Castilla-La Mancha is one of the greatest wine growing regions in Spain and the largest wine- producing region in the world. Among the grapes grown in the region are the native Tempranillo, or Airen, Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah. This historic wine region presents a hybrid wine culture where Old World grapes meet new world technology. Castilla y La Mancha produces great wines, quality vintages, and unique gems for Collectors and Value seekers alike.

     

    The American Sommelier Association considers world-renowned Sommelier, Charlie Arturaola one of the nation’s “top 10 palates”. In his seminar on Castilla y La Mancha wines. Charlie’s charismatic approach to wine and his lifetime passion with knowledge and enthusiasm, will take you through a tasting adventure on par with the adventures of Don Quixote himself. Wines to be tasted include Vinos de Alborea, Bodega La Remediadora, Vinícola de Castila, Bodegas, San Dionisio, Bodegas Pedroheras, Vinos Coloan, Vinícola de Tomelloso, Bodegas La Defensa, Vinícola de Villarrobledo, and Union Campesina Iniestense.

     

    Castilla y La Mancha Wine Seminar by distinguished Sommelier Charlie Artuarola will take place on Saturday September 26, 2009 at 4:45 PM at at the Miami Beach Convention Center. A $20 fee is applicable Proceeds go to Educate Tomorrow.
