      Armando & Gary,
Thanks for the responses to my query. I do not seem to fit into any of the deep ancestry classifications posted by Gary.
Someone else recently posted that all of their "close matches" are with folks of English/Irish/German ancestry. The same
thing happens to me @ 12 markers. I know that does not mean much except for ancient dna, but I am puzzled that I don't
seem to have any close matches with Spanish/Mexican testees. Am I understanding this correctly or am I simply not
      getting it??
      Buen dia,
      Michael Bravo

      Hello Michael,

Thank you for contacting me. I greatly appreciate your comment. I found your kit number in the R1b-DF27 project. I went to the SNP tab under Y-DNA results and it provides all of the SNPs that you tested for which are -

      L176.2-, L21-, M126-, M153-, M160-, M173+, M18-, M207+, M222-, M269+, M343+, M37-, M65-, M73-, P107-, P25+, P312+, P66-, SRY2627-, U106-, U152-, U198-, Z196+

A plus sign means the test was positive test and a minus sign means it tested negative.

You tested positive for Z196 which is directly below DF27 so you are positive for DF27 because all other Z196 are positive for DF27.

Here is a diagram of the DF27 tree

The whole R1b tree can be seen at http://www.isogg.org/tree/ISOGG_HapgrpR.html

I am short on time at the moment so I will have to look into what else you can test for on another day.

      Hasta pronto,

In reference to your posted reply, I am sending you this info directly.
I am impressed with your seeming in-depth knowledge of dna and
specifically about "Mexican dna". So I am providing you my kit #
155630, and would greatly appreciate any/all advice, interpretation
      and recommendations for further testing.
      Buen dia,
