Hello everybody, my name is Juan, I'm from Cuauhtemoc Chih Mexico, but
I live in El Paso Tx. Our last name is very strange over there, Copas,
but I noticed that many people in US have that Name. Somebody in my
family said that my great grand father was part of the Dorados de
Villa (the Golden Ones), he got killed too young and only my grand
father survived. I'm not sure about that, but Pancho Villa's museum in
Chihuahua City, has a picture with all the Golden Ones, it has names,
and it shows a guy named Jose Copas, my dad says that he was my great
gradn father's brother, does anyone knows about it?

I bought probably a copy of the same photo (18" X 24"), Titled:
VILLA Y LOS MIEMBROS DE SU ESCOLTA "LOS DORADOS". There 3 rows with
about 25-30 men in each row, with Villa on the bottom row center; with
            each name listed,,,,,,

Jose Copas is listed as well; I bought this at La Bufadora, about 20
miles South of Ensenada, Baja California Norte, Mexico,,,,,,

I hope you bought a copy,,,,,,

That's really great that you have identified him in a picture. I
just posted about my grandfather and Us finding HIM in a pic. It's
gratifing when we can have physical proof that our relatives were
              involved in something this important!!
