      A group of right-wing extremists demonstrated on Friday in front of the house of
      the commanding officer of an infantry battalion in the Israel Defense Forces.

      They were protesting the evacuation of an outpost in the northern West Bank some
      months ago.

      The protestors, residents of the settlements of Yitzhar and Bracha in the area of
      the outpost, arrived at the commander's home late Friday. The commander lives in
      the settlement of Karmey Tzur, south of the Gush Etzion settlement block near
      Jerusalem.

      Since the evacuation, far-right activists have repeatedly focused protests on the
      commander.

      The IDF's West Bank commander spoke out against the demonstrators, calling them a
      "bunch of madmen whose actions go against every Jewish and democratic value."

      "These people are protesting against an officer who spends every day protecting
