At 7:25pm Monday May 7 there were 6 BLACK-NECKED STILTS at the
shallow pond 0.5 mi. east of the Rodman Slough bridge on the Nice-
Lucerne Cutoff in Lake County. Jerry White visited the site after
8:00 pm and found the stilts as well as 2 WILSON'S PHALAROPES. The
White-faced Ibises seen at the pond on May 6 were not observed today.
To reach the site exit Hwy. 29 on the Nice-Lucerne Cutoff between
Upper Lake and Lakeport and travel east past the bridge.
