      >Virgin Creek beach, south of Laguna Point.  So, I walked up and down everywhere on the beach, concentrating on dry sand.  I found a new bird for today - LONG-BILLED CURLEW with 2 Whimbrels, barely on the north section of beach.  The continuing PECTORAL SANDPIPER was present.  I only saw 2 Semipalmated Plovers, each separated by at least a football field.  There were only a few Least & Western Sandpipers, Black-bellied Plovers, and Black Oystercatchers.

      >So, who knows where the Buff-breasted Sandpiper went?
