On my end, we have observed that he usually comes in after the mid-november 'blows'... maybe the first few days of sustained high winds give him the soaring winds he needs, or I would guess he is at least making his 'test flights' around his summer home.
Well guess what? I see several days of 10-20 as well as 20-30 knot winds in the upcoming coastal marine outlook. I think we have an opening in the Al schedule approaching.
I will keep you posted, and keep my camera handy.
