      A Common Redpoll flew into a window in Mono County quite recently.
      Also, the Harris's Sparrow breeds in far away Northwest Territories,
      Nunavut and northern Manitoba provinces of Canada.  I looked at the
      eBird map of the many Snowy Owls and read about the Emperor
      Goose off Marin headlands.  This could be a good winter.  Please
      don't hesitate to call local, avid birders and post to Mendobirds as
      soon as possible, if one or more of these northern visitors is found
      by you.
