Tue, 8 Oct 2002 -- It was a good day for tubenoses off of Laguna Point.
Dorothy Tobkin reports 6 FULMARS, numerous SOOTY SHEARWATERS, and several
BULLER'S SHEARWATERS fairly close to shore. There were also 2 PARASITIC
JAEGERS and a POMARINE JAEGER in fairly close and morejagers further out.
There were singleton GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE at Lake Cleone and
Pudding Creek and an AMERICAN BITTERN at Inglenook Fen. Toby also reports
her fist Hermit Thrush of the season.
