Wed, 26 May 2010 -- Nine BRANT and three RED-BREASTED MERGANSERs are
now at the Ten Mile R. bridge. At least 8 PURPLE MARTINS were flying or sitting
on a wire on the north side. Eight GREAT BLUE HERONs, 2 GREAT EGRETs and
a single SNOWY EGRET were along the shore. On the north side of the bridge,
there were single YELLOW, WILSON'S and 2 ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLERs.
Of course, it was nice to see the Canada Geese with goslings and a flock of
Common Mergansers. Also, there was no wind, simply lovely and calm.
