Black Swifts and Red-necked Phalaropes May 10th
- Yesterday mid-morning there was a flock of 12 Red-necked Phalaropes that lit briefly on a pond visible from Pine Ave., Potter Valley.
Then later in the afternoon at the Treatment Ponds in Ukiah there were about 125 Red-necked Phalaropes.
The weather conditions were perfect for BLACK SWIFT with low clouds and windy conditions as I saw 3 birds fly over high above the ponds. Jerry White
