Logerhead Shrike, Nashville Warbler
- Mon, 11 Mar 2002 -- At about 11:00 this morning Dorothy Tobkin had a
LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE near Lake Cleone. It was just north of the Lake Cleone
parking area where some vegetation restoration in under way. She saw it
well for about 15 minutes, and then it flew off to the north.
Toby has also had a NASHVILLE WARBLER with some regularity recently
at her house at 159 Jewett in Fort Bragg . It frequents a bottlebrush tree
between her house and a neighbor's and appears in the early morning and
then later in the day. Give her a call at 964-6216 if you are interested in
looking for it.
