Laysan Albatross is Back
- Tue, 4 Dec 2001 -- Dorothy Tobkin reports seeing the LAYSAN ALBATROSS back
in Arena Cove near Point Arena. It was very close to the pier on the north
side and in very sleek plumage. The locals indicated that it had been there
for about ten days which would put it's arrival at about Nov 25.
She also saw 14 TUNDRA SWANS flying south near Hunters' Lagoon.
Although the Garcia River bottoms are getting wet, there was not much in
the way of waterfowl.
